Day 1 - Cochin

Cochin is the commercial Capital of Kerala. The attractions are Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, and Chinese Fishing Nets etc.
Day 2 - Cochin | Munnar
Breakfast at hotel.
Depart for Munnar (135 Km, 4 Hrs)
Arrive at Munnar and check in at hotel

While traveling from Cochin to Munnar, enjoy the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by.
Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathani & Kundala. 1600 meter above sea level this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling Tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji . This flower which bathes the hills in the blue every twelve years, will bloom next in 2006 AD. Munnar also has the highest peak in South India - Anamudi, which towers over 2695 m. Anamudi is an ideal spot for trekking.

Move through the tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers. Lush green hills all around - a place difficult to describe. Very low population and moved away from the city pollution makes Munnar a special destination. Sightseeing includes Mattuppetty and Raja Malai, the top peak of Munnar where you can see Neel Thar (mountain goats) which are on the verge of extinction.
Day 4 - Munnar | Thekkady

Proceed for Thekkady (110Km, 4 Hrs)

In the evening visit Kumily market
Overnight at Thekkady.
Journey from Munnar to Thekkady is a drive through tea estates, spice gardens and wild forests. This is memorable drive of approx. 4 hours. Kumily is the market to buy the best spices available.
Day 5 - Thekkady
Breakfast at hotel.
Visit the Periyar Wild Life sanctuary.
Boat ride through the Periyar Lake.
Overnight at Thekkady.
Periyar, one of the well maintained wild life sanctuaries of South India, sprawls over an area of 777 sq kms. The common sightings here are leopard, tiger, elephant; bison and wild boar. This is one of the best sanctuaries in India for watching the majestic wild life in their natural habitat at close quarters.
Day 6 - Thekkady | Kumarakom

Proceed to Kumarakom (125Km, 4Hrs.)

Arrive at Kumarakom, after a journey of approx. 4 hours enjoying the beauty of the villages of Kerala. In the evening, enjoy. An enchanting backwater destination, Kumarakom offers visitors many other leisure options. Boating and fishing facilities are available at Kumarokom.
Day 7 - Kumarakom | Alleppy (By House Boat)

House boat is for an overnight cruise through the unique back waters of Kerala. Houseboat will be your transportation for the day and accommodation for the night. Cruise through the palm fringed canals; watch the Paddy fields, village folk. Relax on board hearing lullaby of the wind and waves. This mysterious strip of emerald green land is stuffed with endless miles of placid backwaters that appends to its charm. Unwind yourself, watching the endless strips of greenery passing by and the emerald green waters meet the crystal blue sky, whilst the houseboat cruises in a relaxing pace. This would be an experience, which you would always cherish to remember.
Cruise till 6 in the evening by when the houseboat halts in the lake for overnight stay. (Next day, cruising starts at 7 am.) In the evening, enjoy a splendid dinner onboard houseboat. Overnight on board.
Day 8 - Alleppy | Kovalam

Alleppey is the hub of backwater cruises in Kerala and famed as the 'Venice of the East'.
Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach destination of Kerala, with three adjacent crescent beaches. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful Bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse - sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programs, Catamaran cruising etc. En route to Kovalam, take a short city tour of Trivandrum , the Capital of Kerala. You can also spend your time for purchasing curios. Rest of the day at leisure at the beach. If interested, you can indulge yourself in a soothing and rejuvenating Ayurvedic general body massage (optional).
Day 9 - Kovalam | Kanyakumari (Cape Comorine)

Proceed to Kanyakumari (100 km, 2 ½ Hrs)

Return to Kovalam (100 km, 2 ½ Hrs)
Overnight at the resort, Kovalam
Cape (Kanyakumari) is the southern most tip of India. En route, visit Padmanabhapuram Palace & Sucheendram Temple. At Cape, take a boating to Vivekananda Rock, visit Gandhi Memorial and watch the Tiruvalluvar statue. In the evening, after watching a majestic sunset, return to Kovalam
Day 10 - Departure Trivandrum

Transfer to Trivandrum International Airport / Railway Station for your Flight/Train to onward destination
